Southern Indiana Running Club
Our running club is open to cross-country runners of all abilities, boys, girls, Men, and Women age five and up (age as of December 31st), in Floyd, Clark, Harrison, and other surrounding counties. New runners are welcome to join each year between June and October. Some do it just for fun, and others to qualify for AAU Nationals and USATF Junior Olympic Nationals

How to apply
Runner must compete for their Home High School (JV/ Varsity) all 4 years
(not required if school does not offer Cross Country as a sport)
The runner must compete for SIRC all 4 years of high school
The runner must write a 2-3 page essay on one of the following topics.
Why do you deserve this scholarship?
How has running affected your life?
What impact have your coaches made on your life?
All essays must be complete and turned in by December 1st of your senior year.
Example: If you are a May 2026 graduate, your essay is due December 1, 2025
